Jane created Soymates in 2018 when she was 2 years into her vegan journey. After 2 long years of the same boring ideas and pricey food, she wanted a change. Jane started experimenting with different ingredients and recipes to create our 100% original menu made by vegans, for vegans. Soymates reflects the values of veganism and brings a fun twist to the traditional vegan dishes.

Mark Smith joined the Soymates team in 2020 to expand the company and reach out to new customers. Since Mark joined our team, we have expanded our customer base and had the opportunity for people around the world to come try our food. Mark’s contributions even allowed Soymates to open a second restaurant in Madera, California in 2022!
